Email Message Filters (Only for BlackBerry Enterprise
Server Users)
If your email comes through a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you can set up filters on
your Bold by following the steps below.
NOTE: If you are a BlackBerry Internet Service user with Personal or Internet email, you can set
up filters using the BlackBerry Internet Service web site. See page 55 in Chapter 1 ''Email Set
Up'' to learn how.
While receiving your email messages on your BlackBerry is a wonderful thing, there
might be some email messages that, for whatever reason, you don't want sent to your
BlackBerry. Fortunately, you can use an email filter to see just which messages you
want sent to your BlackBerry and which ones stay on the server.
Create Email Filter
1. Click your Messages icon. (Or
press M if you have enabled
Home screen hotkeys.)
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Scroll down to Options and
click.
4. Click Email Filters, press the
Menu key, and click New.
5. Press the Menu key and
choose Save.
Use Email Filters
1. Click your Messages icon.
2. Press the Menu key and select Email Filters.
3. Just use the trackpad and click the radio button next to the filter you
wish you use.
