CHAPTER 22: Snapping Pictures
396
You may also send pictures when you are
viewing them in your Pictures application.
1. From Pictures, highlight the
picture you want to send.
2. Press the Menu key and select
Send/Share...
3. Follow the steps to send or
share the image.

Method 2: Using Bluetooth

If you want to transfer pictures to/from your computer (assuming it has Bluetooth
capabilities), you can. We explain exactly how to get this done in the Bluetooth chapter
on page 441.

Method 3: Using Computer Software

Transferring pictures and other media to your computer is handled using the Media
section of your desktop software. You would use BlackBerry Desktop Manager or
BlackBerry Media Sync. For Windows users, see page 105. Mac users, see page 141.

Method 4: Using Mass Storage Mode

This method assumes you have stored your pictures on a media card. The first time
you connected your BlackBerry to your computer, you probably saw a Turn on Mass
Storage Mode? question.
NOTE: If your BlackBerry was supplied to you by your workplace, this Mass Storage Mode
feature may be disabled for security reasons by your BlackBerry Administrator. If this feature
does not appear to work, contact your help desk for assistance.
If you answered Yes, then your media card looks just like another hard disk to your
computer (just like a USB Flash Drive). Then you can drag and drop pictures to/from
your BlackBerry and your computer. For more details, see page 144.
