Boot to Command Mode

Command Mode provides functions for:
• Running the Self-Test program to verify that the hardware is operating properly
(refer to Chapter 5)
• Performing a Memory Transfer to upload data from a terminal to the host system
(refer to Chapter 5)
• Performing a Program Download to transfer an application program from the
host system to a terminal (refer to Loading the Program in Chapter 2).
21-Key Terminal:
1. Power the terminal off.
2. Press and hold <send> and <9>.
3. Press and release <I/O>.
4. Release <send> and <9>.
35-Key Terminal:
1. Power the terminal off.
2. Press and hold <BackSpace> and <Shift>.
3. Press and release <PWR>.
4. Release <BackSpace> and <Shift>.
46-Key Terminal:
1. Power the terminal off
2. Press and hold <F> and <I>.
3. Press and release <PWR>.
4. Release <F> and <I>.
