Battery Replacement

Alkaline (PDT 3100)

To replace the 9V alkaline battery (refer to Figure 6-1):
1. Turn terminal off.
2. Release hand strap.
3. Unlock and remove battery compartment door.

4. Detach the battery from the 9V connector, and remove it from the compartment.
Dispose of dead batteries in accordance with battery label in-
structions.
5. Snap the replacement 9V alkaline battery to the connector and place it in the
battery compartment.
