Reattach the hand strap, securing the phone to the terminal, as shown in
Figure 4-18.

Connecting the Internal Modem

Some Series 3100 terminals and cradles use an optional internal modem that
communicates at rates of up to 14,400 bps (with v.32 bis data compression). It can be
connected directly to a telephone line through the RJ-11 port on the terminal (see Figure
4-17) or on the CRD 3100 (see Figure 4-19)..
