Importing using CentreWare Internet Services

When Auto Import is checked, you can configure the import
method for documents removed from the mailbox.
This section describes methods for importing documents stored in
a mailbox using CentreWare Internet Services. Using CentreWare
Internet Services, you can import documents stored in the mailbox
on the machine without using any application software.
For information about CentreWare Internet Services, refer to
"CentreWare Internet Services" on page 6-4.
Start up the host device and the browser.

Enter the IP address or Internet address of the machine in the

browser address field and press the Enter key.
NOTE 1: If your network uses DNS (Domain Name System)
and the host name of the machine is registered with the
domain name server, you can access the device using a
combination of the host name and the domain name as the
"Internet address." For example, if the host name is "myhost,"
and the domain name is "mycompany.com," then the "Internet
address "myhost.mycompany.com."
NOTE 2: Contact your system administrator for the IP address
or Internet address to enter.
NOTE 3: When specifying a port number, add ":" and a port
number to the end of the Internet address.
NOTE 4: If using the authorization feature on the machine,
enter a UserID and Password into the User Name and
Password fields. Ask the System Administrator for the UserID
and Password.
