Advanced Copy Operations

To make copies using the "File Margin" function

Load the document to be copied.
Refer to "Loading the Document" on page 3-8.

Press the [File Margin] key.
The "File Margin" indicator lights up.

Do you know how large a
binding margin is created?
The width for the binding can be
set between 0 mm and 20 mm,
in 1 mm increments. The
manufacturer's default setting is
10 mm.
The width of the binding margin can be changed using the
"MARGIN SETTING" function in the Utility mode ("To set the
"BINDING POS." function" on page 7-41).

If necessary, specify any other copy settings.

Using the 10-Key Pad, enter the desired number of copies, and then
press the [Start] key.
