Route List Settings

Create a route list for each storage system from which a route originates.
In the route list, collectively define storage systems with link connections as a route. For example,
in
"Example of copy group configuration for defining control for a Remote DKC Controller"
(page
116), define one route between the storage system assigned the serial number 35114 and
the storage system assigned the serial number 35115 as included in the route list (RR2DC).
APID must be specified by using a hexadecimal number within the range from 0000 to FFFF. For
a route in the reverse direction, a different APID value must be defined from a route in the forward
direction.

Registering a command device

Use the YKBLDCMD command to register a command device in storage system.

Registering a command device in the forward direction

To use the Remote DKC Control Function from the primary site on a storage system at one or more
other sites, you need to register a command device in the forward direction on the storage system
at the other site.
Define the storage system serial numbers to be specified in the YKBLDCMD command in the order
the primary site and secondary site were defined in the route list.
For the example shown in
DKC Controller" (page
site that is assigned the serial number 351 14, and then define the command device in storage
system on the secondary site that is assigned the serial number 351 15.
