Step Checks
1 Generate a halftone test print using
TYPE=5 (DENS-M/C/Y/K=25,
TXPH=0).
2 Is the end of the roller spacer bent?
3 Is the attraction roller soiled?
4 Is the screw on the core fixing roll
of the photosensitive drum loose?
5 Is the fixing screw on the flywheel
loose?
Step Checks
1 Generate a grid test print
(TYPE=6), and make a check.
2 Is the mechanism used to release
the registration roller operating
normally?
3 Is the attraction roller soiled?
4 Is the screw on the core fixing roll
of the photosensitive drum loose?
5 Is the fixing screw on the flywheel
lose?
6 Is the flywheel mounted at an
angle?

Action
Replace the spacer.
Clean the attraction

Replace the scraper.
Tighten the screw.
Tighten the fixing screw.
Check to see if the
flywheel is mounted
properly.
Action
Apply oil to the spring
clutch, or replace it.
Clean the attraction
roller.
Replace the scraper.
Tighten the screws.
Tighten the fixing screw.
Mount the flywheel
properly.
Set
ADJUST>MISC>ATT-
RTN3, ATT-RTN4 to
'1'.
