Receiving Calls,
For certain types of incoming calls,
continued
the display also shows the type:
Transfer
Return from Transfer
Coverage
Forwarded
Returning Callback
Group Calling
Remote Access
Calls received via Remote Access
show standard call information for
outside calls, including the caller's
number if automatic number
identification (ANI) is available.
If a Remote Access call is sent to
Coverage because an invalid
number was dialed, an MLX
telephone user who receives the
call sees a message.
Saved Number
When a user dials a number by
Dial
pressing a programmed Saved
Number Dial button, the digits
appear on the display as if the user
were dialing them from the dialpad.
Timer
Display telephones have a built-in
timer that allows the user to time
telephone calls or other events.
The timer appears on the second
line of the display and counts to 59
minutes and 59 seconds, then
resets to zero and continues
counting.
Transfer
When an MLX telephone user
presses Transfer, the display
prompts the user to dial the
Continued
extension number.
