The clock source Global Configuration mode command configures an external time source for the
system clock. Use no form of this command to disable external time source.

The following example configures an external time source for the system clock.

clock timezone
The clock timezone Global Configuration mode command sets the time zone for display purposes. Use the
no form of this command to set the time to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

clock timezone hours-offset [minutes minutes-offset] [zone acronym]

hours-offset — Hours difference from UTC. (Range: -12

minutes-offset — Minutes difference from UTC. (Range: 0
