Syntax
power inline powered-device pd-type
no power inline powered-device
pd-type — Specifies the type of powered device attached to the interface. (Range: 1 - 24
characters)
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example configures a description to an IP-phone to a powered device connected to
Ethernet interface 1/e1.
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1/e1
Console(config-if)# power inline powered-device IP-phone

power inline priority

The power inline priority Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command configures the inline
power management priority of the interface. Use the no form of this command to return to the default
configuration.
Syntax
power inline priority {critical | high | low}
no power inline priority
critical — Indicates that operating the powered device is critical.
high — Indicates that operating the powered device has high priority.
low—Indicates that operating the powered device has low priority.
Default Configuration
The default setting is low priority.
