radius-server deadtime

The radius-server deadtime Global Configuration mode command improves RADIUS response time
when servers are unavailable. The command is used to cause the unavailable servers to be skipped. Use
the no form of this command to return to the default configuration.
Syntax
radius-server deadtime deadtime
no radius-server deadtime
deadtime — Length of time in minutes during which a RADIUS server is skipped over by
transaction requests. (Range: 0 - 2000)
Default Configuration
The deadtime setting is 0.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example sets the deadtime to 10 minutes.
Console(config)# radius-server deadtime 10

show radius-servers

The show radius-servers Privileged EXEC mode command displays the RADIUS server settings.
