Understanding the LAT Window

The
window uses the following fields:
LAT
identifies the Annex in the LAT protocol. The
Server Name
name you enter should match the VMS host's node name used
in the HIC configuration file. The default value is
by the server's physical ethernet address (e.g.,
LAT_080002BF0020
Remote Group Codes
that can access local services offered by an Annex. To access
these services, the Annex must have at least one enabled group
code that matches the service's group codes. You can enter
, a series of numbers separated by commas, (e.g., 1, 5, 7) or
none
a range of numbers separated by dashes (e.g. 1, 5, 200-255).
You can use any number between 0 and 255.
Virtual CLI Group Codes
assigned to virtual CLI users. All virtual CLI users have the
same group code. You can enter
disable all groups, a series of numbers separated by commas
(e.g., 1, 5, 7), or a range of numbers separated by dashes (e.g. 1,
5, 200-255). You can use any number between 0 and 255.
