System Status Commands

light unit
This command displays the unit ID of a switch using its front-panel LED indicators.
Syntax
light unit [unit]
unit - specifies a unit in a switch stack to light the panel LEDs
Default Setting
None
Command Mode
Normal Exec, Privileged Exec
Command Usage
The unit ID is displayed using the port status LED indicators for ports 1 to 8.
When the light unit command is entered, the LED corresponding to the
switch's ID will flash for about 15 seconds.
Example
Console#light unit 1

show startup-config
Use this command to display the configuration file stored in non-volatile memory that
is used to start up the system.

memory) that is used to start up the system

name, idle time, and IP address of Telnet clients
Displays version information for the system
