Commissioning

6.1

Safety precautions before initial commissioning

Before initial commissioning, verify the overall charging station and the dispenser in
accordance with DIN VDE 0100‑600 or comparable standard/guideline. This includes, in
particular, the measurement of protective conductor impedance and isolation resistances.
Also check the fuse protection of the charging station on the mains side.
Ensure that the charging cables have not become loose during transport. If needed, retighten
the cable glands to a maximum torque of 30 Nm.
In addition, refer to the checklist in Appendix B "Checklist for commissioning" (Page 82) to
check all remaining work steps again.
This step is mandatory.
6.2

Switch on charging station

Risk of electric shock when moist due to condensed water
Before putting the charging station into operation, an authorized and qualified electrician
must check whether there is any moisture in the charging station. Manually remove even
small amounts of condensation before commissioning. Take appropriate measures for
drying.
Do not switch off the power supply for an extended period of time after commissioning. This
will prevent condensation in the charging station.
Overall charging station with dispensers
The handling of the overall charging station with dispensers is described in the following.
