Installing the dispenser

Loosen screw connection with transport carrier

Lift dispenser from transport carrier and position it over base area

Insert cables and lower the charging station/dispenser

Fasten the charging station/dispenser to the base area, tightening torque according to the bolt
anchor used

Drill holes in the cable gland plate and insert cable glands, take Ethernet and control cables into
consideration, if applicable

Insert and screw in cable gland plate, tightening torque: 4 Nm, seal cable gland plate, if applic
able

Install baseboards

Install roof

Connecting the dispenser
7.1
Cut the conductor of the auxiliary power supply to length and connect it to the terminal block
7.2
Cut DC cables to length and attach M8 cable lug, connect to DC charging points, tightening
torque 40 Nm, and mark with pen
7.3
Connect Ethernet cable (charging station end)
7.4
Cut signal cable to length and connect it to the terminal block
7.5
Connect power supply to terminals for Dispenser A and Dispenser B (charging station end)

Check consistency and low impedance of protective conductor

Check insulation resistances, remove fuses of the overvoltage protection arrester beforehand

Check connector for tight fit
8.4
Close/lock device doors
8.5
Switch on via upstream switching device

Check for proper power-up
8.7
Check function of the Emergency Stop switch and door switch
8.8
In consultation with the operator, check and, if necessary, adjust the input power limitation in the
SCB.

Perform charging tests with all outlets
8.10
If present: Configure data for OCPP connection (OCPP ID, OCPP URL web socket, authorization
key, whitelist -XF4) from operator in the SCB (if available)
8.11
If present: Check successful OCPP connection and activate authentication per outlet
8.12
If present: Repeat charging tests with all outlets and all authentication methods
8.13
If necessary: Shut down charging station with door open via the button on the HMI, then switch
off -QA2 and close/lock device doors
