3.7 Replacing the SICAM EFI Battery
SICAM EFI uses a 3.6 V 2700 mAh LiSoCl

When the battery is replaced, it is necessary to use the battery type: ER14505 3.6 V 2700-mAh AA LiSoCl2
to claim the required battery life.
You can replace the SICAM EFI battery when it is damaged or exhausted. To replace the battery, proceed as
follows:

WARNING
Exercise caution when replacing the device battery.
Non-observance of the following specified measures will result in death, severe injury, or consider-
able material damage.
Ensure AC/DC auxiliary power supply, AC BI signal, primary input to sensor and sensor output cable are

electrically isolated when device battery is removed or replaced.
Do not reverse the polarity of the battery.

Do not attempt to open the battery. Dispose of used battery promptly.

Remove the SICAM EFI front cover with the help of a screwdriver as shown in Figure 3-2.

Remove the discharged battery from the battery clip carefully.
