Changes to Configuring Frame Relay to ATM Interworking

This section provides the modified description of the VC ATM/FR-IW EFCI
Policy and VCI Number parameters.
The VC ATM/FR-IW EFCI Policy parameter has been revised as follows:
Parameter: VC ATM/FR-IW EFCI Policy
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > Frame Relay Switch > PVCs >
Permanent VCs > Edit
Default: MAP FR FECN TO ATM EFCI
Options: MAP FR FECN TO ATM EFCI | SET FECN TO 1 | SET FECN TO 0
Function: Indicates the policy for translating frame relay forward explicit congestion
notification (FECN) to ATM explicit forward congestion indication (EFCI) on
this frame relay PVC, or setting FR FECN to a constant value for all frames.
This parameter is relevant only when frame relay to ATM interworking is
enabled for this PVC.
Instructions: Accept the default.

Parameter: VCI Number
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > Frame Relay Switch > PVCs >
Permanent VCs > Edit
Default: None
Options: 32 to 8191
Function: Identifies the virtual path of the PVC. The virtual channel identifier (VCI) is
part of the cell header. The cell header can contain a maximum of 16 VCI bits.
Instructions: Enter a value from 32 through 8191.
