Change to Configuring ATM Trunks

This section provides the modified description of the VCI Number parameter.
Parameter: VCI Number
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > ATM > Service Records > PVC > Add
Default: None
Options: 32 to 8191
Function: Identifies the virtual channel of the PVC. The VCI is part of the cell header. The
header can contain a maximum of 16 VCI bits.
Instructions: Enter a value from 32 through 8191.

Change to Configuring ATM DXI Trunks

Parameter: VCI Number
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > ATM DXI > Interfaces
Default: None
Options: 32 to 8191
Function: Identifies the virtual channel of the PVC.
Instructions: How you set this parameter depends on how you set the DXI Mode parameter in
the ATM DXI Interface List window. If you select Mode 1A (the default) or
Mode 1B for the DXI Mode value, enter a value from 32 through 63. If you
select Mode 2 or Mode 2 Proprietary, enter a value from 32 through 8191.
