Suppose there are a maximum of two Control Center applications connected to the
CS at any one time. There will be a maximum of three Voice Gateway servers
connected to the CS at any one time. The CS queries will take less than one
second to process. There is one child CS pushing data to the parent CS.
To determine the number of licenses needed, add the number of Control Centers
(2) to the number of Voice Gateways (3), plus the number of child CSs (1), and
add one to represent the background cleanup process. The result is 7 CS licenses
are required.

Configuring Oracle System Identification

After installing Oracle Workgroup Server on the computer system, you must add a
database alias and then configure Oracle to add a system identification (SID) to
the listener.ora file. This file is used by Oracle Listener to listen for connections to
the database. The listener.ora file includes the SID of the databases they listen for
and various control parameters including tracing and logging data.
If you are using the Event Manager (EMS), follow these instructions to create a
database alias and add the system identification for the EMS as well.
