Using the Technician Interface

To enable or disable the saving of statistics to the VFS, use the format shown in
Figure
Figure 3.
TI set command
[4:1] $ set wfStatsDc.wfStatsDcExtFileSysEnable.0 1

Log Messages

Log messages related to statistics data collection on the VFS are similar to log
messages generated for statistics stored on SRAM flash memory. The only
difference is that volume names contain the suffix x.
For example, if you attempt to perform a command on a VFS volume on Slot 4,
and the volume is not found, the following message would be displayed:
# 2: 09/11/1998 16:00:05.300 WARNING SLOT 4 STATS
Error in mounting 4x:.
No room for STATS file on slot - 4.

Resilient NNI

Resilient NNI (network-to-network interface) connects a Bay Networks
BayStream switch to frame relay switches of other vendors that support Resilient
NNI. Resilient NNI provides failure resiliency for NNI links between frame relay
networks. Resilient NNI uses the messages and information elements defined in
Annex A of ITU-T Recommendation Q.933 to manage the activation of links that
carry the NNI traffic and monitor integrity of inactive links.
