1 (livup) -- the alternate link receives LIV from the master node
2 (livdown) -- the alternate link does not receive LIV messages from the master node or
has just transitioned from the dlcmiup state
3 (dlcmiup) -- the link is fully operational and is exchanging bidirectional Annex A
messages with the master node
4 (livnit) -- the link is in the init state
5 (tofullup) -- the link is fully operational
6 (dlcmifault)- - the link is experiencing a DLCMI MIB misconfiguration
7 (rnnicfgfault) -- the link is experiencing Resilient NNI configuration mismanagement
8 (notpres) -- the RNNI entity is not present on this link
