Data acquisition leads not connected
Light source inactive
Output below 0 mV
Instrument in STANDBY mode
Nebulizer or nebulizer inlet tube blocked
Temperature probe fault or disconnected
Suggested actions
Ensure connectors to computer or integrator are
securely connected.
Check LED or LASER intensity is 100 %.
Check LED or LASER is functioning correctly,
by stopping solvent flow, cycling the power.
Then reading the offset value in RUN mode
should be below 130 mV.
Stop pump flow and A/Z without liquid flowing.
Select RUN mode.
Manually syringe water into ELSD front Inlet port
to remove obstruction.
Suggested actions
Check RTD connections.
Consult Agilent Technologies or your local
agent for further advice.
