the Intelligent Light System can be switched
on and off on the
DIGITAL LIGHT
Activating or deactivating enhanced assis‐
tance functions

If the locator lighting or the exterior switch-
off delay time is activated, a high-resolution
greeting or farewell scene will be played back
for a short period of time when the vehicle is

Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus
Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus does not
react to:
road users without lights, e.g. pedes‐
R
trians
road users with poor lighting, e.g. cyclists
R
road users whose lighting is obstructed,
R
e.g. by a barrier
On very rare occasions, Adaptive Highbeam
Assist Plus may fail to recognise other road
users with their own lighting, or may recog‐
nise them too late.
In these, or in similar situations, the auto‐
matic high beam will not be deactivated or
will be activated despite the presence of
other road users.
Always observe the road and traffic
#
conditions carefully and switch off the
high beam in good time.
Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus cannot take into
account road, weather or traffic conditions.
Detection may be restricted in the following
cases:
in poor visibility, e.g. fog, heavy rain or snow
R
if there is dirt on the sensors or the sensors
R
are obscured
Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus is only an aid.
You are responsible for adjusting the vehicle's
lighting to the prevailing light, visibility and traf‐
fic conditions.
