2. Select the method of connecting with the display controller.
Select [LAN] or [SERIAL]. Do not mix them in the system.
[LAN]: Ethernet connection
[SERIAL]: USB connection
3. Set the information for the connection.
. For the primary controller, click the radio button of the [Primary] field.
. Type the IP address. Or, select the COM port from the list.
When the IP address or COM port is entered, the next line becomes editable.
The order of display controller to be set should match with the order of signal output in the linked
communication connection (daisy chain).
. Type a password. (Except for S/N 2000001 to 2000100 of ZRCT-100 SY model)
If you do not hold the password, clear the check box in [Remember Password].
Set the same password that is used when you make the protocol settings of the display controller
from Web browser. If the check box in [Requires Autherication] is cleared from the Web browser,
you do not have to type the password.
The typed password is displayed as "*". The limitations of password are as follows.
. 8 to 16 characters that includes both alphabet and numeric characters
. Case-sensitive
. The default password "cledis" cannot be set as a new password.

. If you forget your password, consult with qualified Sony personnel.
When you contact qualified Sony personnel, you may be notified of a special password to reset the
password. (The password is for resetting and limited in use.)
. The controller other than Controller-1 can be specified to be the primary controller.
. Even if Controller-1 is not specified to be the primary controller, be sure to set the IP address or
COM port from Controller-1 in the order of signal output in the linked communication connection
(daisy chain).

Any controller can be specified to be the primary controller.
4. Confirm the settings.
[OK]: The settings are registered in the display controller. The settings are saved in the Display
Control Software. The display returns to the Main screen before initial settings.
[Apply]: The settings are registered in the display controller. The settings are saved in the Display
Control Software. There is no screen display transition. If the connection or setting to the
display controller has failed, [NG] is displayed in the [Result] field.
[Cancel]: The display returns to the Main screen before initial settings without saving the settings.
5. After the display has returned to the Main screen before initial settings, set the display unit layout.
