Calibrating Blade Tilt

The blade tilt is calibrated at the factory, but it can
be recalibrated if it changes during the life of the
machine.
Tools Needed
Machinist's Square, 90° ..................................... 1
To calibrate blade tilt:
1.
Move blade tilt to 0° and raise main blade as
high as it will go.
2.
Use machinist's square to check if main blade
is square to table (see Figure 185).

3. If main blade is not square to table, use blade
tilt switch and blade tilt micro-adjust button
(see Figure 186) to adjust blade tilt angle so
it is square to table.
4. Press and hold reset button (see Figure 186)
for three seconds to save new setting.
