Replacing Main Motor Belt
The belt transfers power from the main motor to
the main blade.
Tool Needed
Wrench 22mm ................................................... 1
To replace main motor belt:
1.
Tilt blade to 45°.
2.
DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
3.
Open cabinet door and locate motor adjust-
ment lever shown in Figure 183.

Rotate adjustment lever clockwise to raise
motor and release belt tension (see Figure
184). The cam will lock the motor in place.

Carefully position belt onto desired pulleys
(see Changing Speed on Page 54 for addi-
tional information).
Rotate adjustment lever counterclockwise to
lower motor and retension belt.
Note: The cam lock will automatically posi-
tion motor for correct belt tension.
Close cabinet door before reconnecting
machine to power.
