Connect ground wire to ground terminal, then
connect incoming power wires to bottom ter-
minals shown in Figure 71.

Make sure incoming ground wire is con-
nected to right-most terminal post in the
power junction box so machine is properly
grounded. An ungrounded or improperly
grounded machine may have an electrified
frame which could cause electrocution
when touched.

Make sure wires have enough slack so they
are not pulled tight or stretched.
5.
Re-install junction box cover, and perform
Test Run in following section to check phase
polarity.

Test Run

Once assembly is complete, test run the machine
to ensure it is properly connected to power and
safety components are functioning correctly.
If you find an unusual problem during the test run,
immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from
power, and fix the problem BEFORE operating the
machine again. The Troubleshooting table in the
SERVICE section of this manual can help.

The test run consists of verifying the following:
1) The motors power up and run correctly, 2) the
main blade turns forward (clockwise when viewed
from front of saw) and the scoring blade turns
opposite the main blade, and 3) the safety fea-
tures of the Emergency Stop buttons, blade cover
switch, and cabinet door work correctly.
Serious injury or death can result from
using this machine BEFORE understanding
its controls and related safety information.
DO NOT operate, or allow others to operate,
machine until the information is understood.
DO NOT start machine until all preceding
setup instructions have been performed.
Operating an improperly set up machine
may result in malfunction or unexpect-
ed results that can lead to serious injury,
death, or machine/property damage.
To test run machine:
1.
Clear all setup tools away from machine.
2.
Make sure saw blades are installed tightly
and blade cover is closed.
3.
Press Emergency Stop buttons in at these
locations: 1) On front console, 2) on side of
cabinet, 3) on digital control panel.
4.
Connect saw to power, and rotate master
power switch to ON position.
5.
Twist each Emergency Stop button clockwise
so it pops out (see Figure 72). This resets
the buttons so machine can start.
