Sampling frequency for prestriping or advance recording
Use the SAMPLING FREQ selection switch (PCM-3324S) or Fs selection switch
(PCM-3348HR) on the system control block and the FS SHIFT switch on the CTK
board to select the sampling frequency.

Note
If using a tape recorded on a system combining a VSU-3310 Vari-Sync Unit (with
the Fs SELECT key set to 44.056 kHz) and a PCM-3324, for recording or playback
on the PCM-3324S/3348HR recorder, use the FS SHIFT switch to select a sampling
frequency of 44.056 kHz. This is the only system for which use of the FS SHIFT
switch is recommended.
Sampling frequency other than for prestriping or advance recording
The unit automatically selects the sampling frequency to match that recorded on the
CTL track on the tape.
