Mount a blank tape on the recorder unit, and set the switches and buttons as
follows:
•
MASTER SAFE switch: OFF
•
REC MODE switch: ADVANCE
•
TIMER MODE button: CTL ABSOLUTE
•
SAMPLING FREQ (or Fs) switch: Sampling frequency of the original tape
•
WORD LENGTH switch (PCM-3348HR only): Word length of the original
tape
•
INPUT SELECT switch: DIGITAL
•
SYNC CLOCK switch: EXT
•
TIME CODE selection switch: EXT
•
ALL CHANNEL REC READY button: ON
•
A1 A2 REC READY button: ON
•
TIME CODE REC READY button: ON
Check that the 2CH DIO SET UP button on the remote control unit for the
recorder unit is off.

On the recorder unit, set the CTL to the start point address on the original tape.
If the original tape does not start from 00
value, using the numeric buttons and ↑ button on the remote control unit.

Begin playback on the player unit.

On the recorder unit, holding down the REC button, press the PLAY button.
00 00 set the address to the CTL
