Note
Using the sound memory function on the PCM-3324S requires an RM-3324 remote
control unit, and also requires the PCM-3324S to be fitted with a DABK-3329 sound
memory board.

15-1. Selecting the Sound Memory Mode

Set the REC MODE switch on the recorder to INSERT.

Press the STOP button to stop tape transport.

Press and light the SOUND MEMORY button on the remote control unit.

15-2. Selecting the Source and Destination Channels

Check that the SOUND MEMORY button is lit, then press the MEM STOP
button to select the memory stop mode.

Press the INPUT button or REPRO button for the first source channel, so that it
starts flashing.
If copying a mono signal, skip to step 4.

Press the INPUT button or REPRO button for the second source channel, so that
it starts flashing.

Press the CH SET button.
5
Press the REC READY button for the first destination channel, so that it starts
flashing.
If copying a mono signal, skip to step 7.
