On the recorder unit, set the CTL to the start point address on the original tape,
and record for approximately 30 seconds in advance recording mode.

Set the REC MODE switch on the recorder unit to ASSEMBLE.

Locate the tapes both on the recorder and player units at the CTL address start
point.

On the remote control unit connected to the player unit, press the SLAVE,
CLEAR, STORE, SYNC OFFSET buttons in that order.

Set the controls on the recorder unit as follows.
•
ALL CHANNEL REC READY button: ON
•
A1 A2 REC READY button: ON
•
TIME CODE REC READY button: ON

On the recorder unit (master unit) press the PLAY button.

Check that the player unit (slave unit) has synchronized, and on the recorder
unit, press the PLAY button and REC button simultaneously.
