4. Loosen the hook-and-loop fastener securing the cable to the rack.
Replacing a service processor (FSP) cable in the 9080-M9S system
To replace a service processor (FSP) cable in the system, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Reconnect the service processor (FSP) cables.
Attention: Do not drop or damage the metal connectors on the cable. If the metal connectors
are bent or damaged, they need to be replaced.
Use the Figure 17 on page 19 and Table 1 on page 20 as needed to determine the point-to-point
cabling for service processor cables.
