b) Hold the memory module by the edges and pull it out of the system.
c) Place the memory module or filler in a slot in the second row in the ESD tray, which was included
with your replacement system backplane.
Tip: Place the memory modules or fillers in the ESD tray in the order in which you remove them so
that you do not need to label each one.
d) Repeat steps "3.a" on page 590 through "3.c" on page 591 for the remaining memory modules or
fillers.
4. Remove the processor voltage regulator modules from locations P1-C14, P1-C17, P1-C18, and P1-
C21.
a) Unlock the levers (A) to release the voltage regulator module from its connector. Refer to the
following image.
b) Rotate the levers in the direction shown.
c) While holding the voltage regulator module by its levers, pull upward to remove the card from its
slot.
d) Place the voltage regulator module in a slot in the third row of the ESD tray.
Tip: Place the processor voltage regulator modules in the ESD tray in the order in which you remove
them so that you do not need to label each one.
