Meaning of table columns
The table for configuration of the axis-drive assignment is composed of the following table
columns:
Table column Meaning
Axis Display of machine axes AX1 to AX31, including the two possible measurement systems MS1 and MS2.
Axis name For the configuration, the machine axis name must be entered that when executing the package was
written to MC machine data N10000 $MN_AXCONF_MACHAX_NAME_TAB.
Setpoint / actual In this column, the Setpoint output can be activated via a drop-down list and the encoder type specified.
value type This data is entered in the following NC machine data:
N30130 $MA_CTRLOUT_TYPE
N30240 $MA_ENC_TYPE
N30200 $MA_NUM_ENCS
Activated axes and measurement systems are displayed with a white background - deactivated ones
are displayed with a gray background.
Input In this column, the input can be configured for the measuring systems. This states whether it is the first
or the second encoder.
NC drive This column is only activated by Topo after assigning theDO variables and contains the drive number.
The assignment of a drive number to an axis can be automatically realized using Topo, corresponding
to a
Manual assignments are also possible using drop-down list, whereby a "user-defined axis-drive assign‐
ment" (yellow display) can be obtained.
DO variable These columns show the relevant DO properties, and cannot be separated.
The NC axis can be assigned a DO variable via the drop-down list.

All of the DO variables are available, which were assigned in the topology to the Motor Modules or the
DO name
Sensor Modules.
Note
Selection is only possible if the DO variable table is correctly filled out.

Execution

There are two versions and their associated mixed forms for assigning the axes to the drive.
The assignment is made while the CMC package is running corresponding to the configuration
within the framework of the version shown.
