Delete

Delete action
The "Delete" action deletes files and folders in the target area.
You can create the paths in which the files and folders to be deleted are located on the nodes
in the target area. This is supported by the "Known folder" context menu entry.
Target areas that do not contain any delete tasks are shown in gray, while inserted inadmissible
folders are shown in red.
Note
Selected data areas define target areas
Which target areas are displayed depends on the data areas (archive, PCU, NCU/PPU) that
were activated for use.
The data areas are defined in the project folder in the Package tab (Page 137).
If a data area is deactivated subsequently, all the target area nodes that cannot be hidden due
to content are shown in red.
Note
Display of the target area
● Gray - target area does not contain any data.
● Red - data in the target area is not used.
● Blue - linked data with resolution for deployment.
The following target areas are supported:

Operating Manual, 12/2017, A5E36537479B-AE
Under Windows, prefix the command line scripts to the command interpret‐
er.
For example:
Cmd.exe /c test.cmd
Shell scripts (sh) for Linux must be stored in Unix file format (only LF, not
CR/LF).
The shell identifier, e.g. #!/bin/sh, must be in the first line or the script
started as shell call, e.g. sh my_script.sh.
If you specify commands directly with placeholders or environment varia‐
bles, a shell must be prefixed, e.g. sh rm /user/*.log.
If you specify a file for execution, prefix a "./", e.g. ./test.sh.
