10.10.6 Panel test/SIO test
The panel test/SIO test checks the operational status of the control unit's keys, knobs
and trackball. To conduct this test, select [1 Panel/SIO Test] from the second page of
the [Test] menu.
Press the MENU/ESC key to close the results.

Press Menu/Esc key to cancel.
Press, then release, each key (other than the power key (
MENU/ESC key).
The corresponding location on the test screen shows a "1" (pressed)
or "0" (released) if the key or button is functioning correctly.
1) Push, then release the scrollwheel. The indication shows a "1"
(pressed) or "0" (released) if the scrollwheel is functioning cor-
rectly.
2) Spin the scrollwheel upwards, then downwards. The indication
shows a "d" if the scrollwheel is functioning correctly.
Turn each knob clockwise, then counter-clockwise.
The corresponding location on the test screen shows a positive val-
ue (clockwise) or negative value (counter-clockwise) if the knob is
functioning correctly.
