How to Erase Weak Echoes

Sediment in the water or reflections from plankton may be painted on the display in
low intensity tones, as shown in the illustration below. You can remove these unwant-
ed echoes with the color erase feature.
1. Open the menu.
2. Select [7 3D Functions], then left-click.
3. Select [1 Echoes], then left-click.
4. Select [2 Signal Level], then left-click.

weakest to strongest.

How to Reject the Surface Noise

To reject the surface noise due to the sea surface reflections, etc., do as follows:
1. Open the menu.
2. Select [7 3D Functions], then left-click.
3. Select [1 Echoes], then left-click.
4. Select [3 Surface Noise Reject], then left-click.
