3D MODE
Note: To unlock the 3D functions a software license key is required.

Basic Operating Procedure
Turn the power on.
*: [1 2nd Monitor Setting] on the [Monitor Setting] menu (see page 9-12) must be set
to [Dual Display].
Note: In the default setting, Slant (S) and Vertical Slant (VCS) modes are active. To
use other display modes, register the display mode to use from the menu. For how to
register display modes, see section 1.6.2.
Lower the transducer.
• If the mid protrusion key is programmed to [Fixed Position]:
Lowers the transducer to half protrusion.
• If the mid protrusion key is programmed to [Any Position]:
The transducer stops at desired position.
• If the mid protrusion key is programmed to [Fixed Position]:
Lowers the transducer to full protrusion.
• If the mid protrusion key is programmed to [Any Position]:
The transducer stops at desired position.
Set the display range.
Adjust the gain.
Select the 3D display (3D, 3D & S, 3D & FF*).
Select the 3D display mode (forward detection
history, tilt cross-section, sweep cross-section), and
change the viewpoint.
