A Word to the Owner of the FSV-75
Congratulations on your choice of the FURUNO FSV-75 Color Scanning Sonar. We are confident

This equipment is designed and constructed to meet the rigorous demands of the marine environ-
ment. However, no machine can perform its intended function unless operated and maintained
properly. Please carefully read and follow the recommended procedures for operation and main-
tenance.

To unlock the 3D functions a software license key is required.
Interference suppression
When another ship asks you to suppress interference, the following measures can be taken.
These measures should be performed based on the equipment priority listed below.
1) Broadband fish finder or sonar.
2) Multiple frequency fish finder or sonar.
3) Single frequency fish finder or sonar. (This equipment)
The FSV-75 is a single frequency sonar, therefore it has the lowest priority.
• Change the TX (transmission) frequency (see section 2.10.4).
• Lower the TX power (see section 2.9).
• Change the TX interval (see section 2.10.2).
