How?
1. Double-click in the project tree on "Insert single drive unit".
The following settings are pre-assigned:
– Device type: CU320-2 DP
– Device version: 4.5 or higher
– Address type: PROFIBUS/USS/PPI
– Bus address: 7
2. If necessary, correct these settings.
Once you have created the project, you have to configure the drive unit. Some examples are
provided in the following Chapters.

Information about the bus
address:
The PROFIBUS address of
the Control Unit must be
set for initial
commissioning.
Using the rotary coding
switches on the Control
Unit, the address can be
set to a value between 1
and 126 and read via
p0918. If the coding
switches are at "0" (factory
setting), the value can be
alternatively set between 1
and 126 using p0918.
