The following describes commissioning and replacing an encoder using the DRIVE-CLiQ
encoder as an example.

The following encoders can be configured for "linear" encoder type:
– Absolute encoder with EnDat protocol
– Incremental encoder with sin/cos signal
– Incremental encoder with HTL/TTL signal
– Absolute encoder with SSI protocol
– Absolute encoder with SSI protocol and HTL/TTL signal
– Absolute encoder with SSI protocol and sin/cos signal
