This instrument is equipped with a UV 0% option as a UV-free light source (with all UV rays up to 390 nm
eliminated). Select the UV level according to the type of fluorescent agent being measured and the measuring
method specified by the standard being followed.
Memo
UV is set to "UV100%" when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Operating Procedure

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to "UV", and then
press the [Confirmation] key.

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to the item to set,
and then press the [Confirmation] key.
Settings
{ UV100% : Measurement with a light source containing
100% UV components
{ UV0% : Measurement with a light source containing
no UV components
{ UVC : UV control available
Memo • U VC (UV control) is available only on firmware version 1.10
or later.
• T he UV control setting is configured using the optional
color management software SpectraMagic NX (Ver.3.0 or
later). The setting is displayed and available only when
output UV coefficients have been downloaded.

Press the [Confirmation] key.
The selection is confirmed and the screen returns to the
<Measurement setup> screen.
Notes
If [ESC] is pressed without pressing the [Confirmation]
key, the settings will not be changed and the screen will
return to the <Measurement setup> screen.
Start the procedure from the <Measurement cond.> - <Measurement setup> screen.
