3.1 DEVELOPMENT UNIT REMOVAL

1. Turn off the main switch.
NOTE: The development unit will start turning when it is installed in toner
end or near end condition.
2. Open the front doors.
3. Remove the left inner cover.
4. Remove the PTC unit [A].
5. Disconnect the connector [B] of the PTL.
6. Remove the development unit (1 screw).
NOTE: a) When reinstalling the development unit, confirm the drive gear
mesh by turning the paddle roller knob [C].
b) When reinstalling the PTC unit, make sure that the front unit
bracket is set to the projections [D] on the drum stay correctly.
