Front panel overview

Front panel indicators

Indicator On
1. Power The printer is on and ready for
operation.
2. Error If the indicator is on after the
power-up sequence, the printer
detects an error that is not
user-correctable; the printer
requires service.

Using the Front Panel

The printerÕs front panel includes an LCD display, menu buttons, and power
and error indicator lights. The two-line display shows the status of the
printer and menus for different printer operations, such as cleaning.
The front panel has two indicator lights:
Power Error

Ready
Info
Exit
Clean
Blinking
The printer is warming up, or it is
processing or printing an image.
The printer is in interactive
mode: you have pressed the
Menu button.
The printer requires attention:
for example, ink is low or the
printer is out of paper.

The printer is off or not
ready, or there is an error.
Normal operation.
