Setting up the printer: at a glance

Getting Set Up

Unpack the printer and its accessories (page 2-3).
1.
Send in your registration card (page 2-3).
2.
Install the Lower Paper Tray Assembly (optional) (page 2-4).
3.
Unlock the transit restraint (page 2-7).
4.
Install the maintenance tray (page 2-8).
5.
Load the ink sticks (page 2-10).
6.
Load the paper tray (page 2-11).
7.
Attach an external hard drive (optional) (page 2-17).
8.
Connect the printer to your computer or network (page 2-18).
9.
Connect the power cord and turn printer on (page 2-21).
