The oil in the primary chaincase should be changed every 1,000 miles (1,600 kms.),
o r every month if
a
thousand miles has not been covered. The correct quantity

By carefully maintaining the oil level and changing the oil at regular
intervals, the primary chain will be kept in excellent condition and will run for a
long mileage without attention.
If the oil is allowed t o become dirty and partially
broken down, wear will develop on the primary chain, which will require constant
adjustment.
