R e m o v i n g
the
F i r s t Bead.
Insert a lever A T
THE VALVE
POSITION and while
I
pulling o n chis lever, press the bead i n t o t h e w e l l of t h e r i m diametrically opposite
I
t h e valve position. Insert a second lever close t o the first and prlse the bead over
I
the r i m flange.
Remove the
f i r s t
lever and re-insert a little further away from the
second lever. Continue round the bead i n steps of
2-3
~nches
( 5 t o
8
cms.) until the
i
bead i s away from t h e rim.
I n n e r Tube.
Push t h e valve o u t of the r i m and remove the inner tube.
R e m o v i n g t h e Second Bead. Stand the wheel upright and insert a lever between
the'remaining bead and the rim. Pull the cover away from the rim.
F I T T I N G T H E T Y R E
R i m Band. Make sure that the rough side of the rubber r i m band
i s
fitted against
the r i m and that the band
is
central in the weii.
