Cylinder heads and cam sprockets

1. The rear cam chain guide securing bolts in
the cylinder head have embossed numbers
1 and 2. Install the No. 1 cylinder head on
the front cylinder side and the No. 2 on the
rear cylinder side.
2. Install the cylinder head on the front (#1) cyl-
inder. Route the cam chain through the cam
chain journal in the head.
WARNING:
The rear cam chain guide must be fit in the cam chain
guide stopper in the head. If the chain guide does not
fit the chain guide stopper, take the following steps:
a) Remove the cam chain guide stopper nut
cover from the front cylinder.
Loosen the cam

securing nut on each cylinder head.
c) Fit the top and of the chain guide into the
chain guide stopper.
